== Currencies ==
In this submenu you can manage the exchange rates for the different currencies.

You must enter your default currency you configured in your [[Achievo configuration file|configuration file]] and enter a value of at least one currency to assure proper functioning of the module.

== Expenses ==
Expenses on projects can be entered using this submenu. Every entry can be put on a bill.

Please note that the amount is in the standard currency as entered in your [[Achievo configuration file|configuration file]].

== Rates ==

A rate is the amount of the currencty to pay for a specific task.
First you get an overview of the already entered rates. To add a new rate,
click on Add new rate and you get an input mask. User, project, activity, customer and priority are used to determine which rate
applies: Every rate is selected where either one of the project, the activity, the person or
the customer column matches the selected activity and then these rates are ordered by
their priority. The rate with the highest priority is used to calculate the amount that
will be billed.

== Financial data ==
The billing module allows for tracking financial informations on every customer, the currency assigned to the
customer, the rates for this customer and his bank account.
And it allows for the tracking of all financial information related to a certain project, also used to enter a fixed price for a project.

== Bill admin ==
This is the most important part of the billing module.

Here you can start a new bill and view and manage all previously created ones.

To create a new bill, choose the project the bill belongs to and click Save. On the
next page, you can enter a description and add some bill lines by clicking on add bill
line. Here you enter a description for this line. Now choose what kind of line it is. If
you choose fixed calculation, you have to enter an amount which apears as amount for
this line. After Calculation first multiplies the hours with the correspondending rate.
Cost adds expenses as a bill line and discount provides a discount either on the whole
bill or just one bill line.

If you select Fixed or After Calculation, you have to pick the hours that will be covered
by this line.
To show all unregistered hours, mark Show all unregistered hours and click refresh.
In the lower part of the screen you can select the hours by selecting both checkboxes
(Header register and Put on Bill ) and then click Add to Bill. You will be redirected to
the first screen and your lines is added to the bill.
Note: Every amount which is put on the bill gets automatically converted into the
currency assigned to the customer which will be billed.
You can now add some more billlines. Once you have added all billlines, click generate
bill to get to the customizing of the bill where you can edit the descriptions of the bill
lines and the customer address.
If you then click on Generate Bill you get a preview of the final bill in HTML. With
clicking Finish, the bill is written to the database and you can generate a printable bill
in PDF format.

== Lock expenses ==
Allows you to 'lock' a week for one or more users, disabling them of entering expenses on this week.

Entry of the weeks is done in a 'YYYYMM' format.
